This is a Genuine OEM Ford rear tailgate latch rod for the 2021–2024 Ford F-150. It is the factory replacement rod that connects and operates the tailgate latch mechanism on trucks equipped with the power tailgate and Flex Step system.

It is located at the rear of the vehicle and fits all engine options — including the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost, 3.5L V6 EcoBoost, 3.5L V6 PowerBoost Hybrid, 5.0L V8, and 3.0L V6 Power Stroke Diesel.
