Also known as the tailgate latch rod or F rod, this control rod is a critical component of the tailgate latch mechanism. Fits multiple trim levels including Custom, LT, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, RST, High Country, and PPV configurations.

This is a genuine GM part manufactured to exact factory specifications. Located at the rear tailgate. Fits vehicles with 8 ft box, standard gate without power release and without power assist. Also compatible with 6.9 ft box, 6.6 ft box, and 5.8 ft box configurations with standard gate without power assist and without power release.
