This is a genuine Ford instrument panel dimmer switch that controls the dashboard lighting brightness. This OEM resistor assembly fits Ford Escape, Expedition, Explorer, and Flex models, Mercury Mariner, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles from 2006 through 2014.

This is a genuine OEM Ford part designed for the instrument panel position. The black dimmer switch is compatible with 6-cylinder 3.5L DOHC turbocharged and VCT SMPI engines.
