2016 Mazda CX-5 Console Lid Lock Latch

Installation Instructions:

Important Note: Before beginning the installation process, make sure that the replacement part matches the one being replaced in terms of make, model, and specifications.

Tools Needed:

• Phillips head screwdriver
• Flat head screwdriver

Skill Level: Beginner

Time Needed: 10-15 minutes

Steps:

1. Open the center console lid and locate the lock latch mechanism.
2. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the lock latch in place.
3. Use a flat head screwdriver to carefully pry off any clips or fasteners holding the lock latch in place.
4. Gently pull the lock latch mechanism away from the center console lid.
5. Take the new lock latch mechanism and carefully insert it into the same location where the old mechanism was removed.
6. Reinstall any clips or fasteners that were removed earlier, then tighten the screws holding the lock latch mechanism in place.
7. Test the new lock latch mechanism by locking and unlocking the center console lid.
8. That's it! The installation process is now complete.

Remember to dispose of any old parts and materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
