This is the dash switch only as shown. Nothing else is included. 

Adding this switch by itself will not give you brake control. You would need many other components which are not included. This is to be used as a replacement for a faulty switch and only for trucks that came with trailer brakes from the factory.

3. Once the panel is removed, use the screwdriver to disconnect the old switch.
4. Connect the new Trailer Brake Control Switch in the same position.
5. Replace the panel and ensure that it's securely attached.
6. Reconnect the vehicle's battery, and test the new switch to confirm proper operation.

This procedure requires a moderate skill level and should take about 30 minutes.
