Tools Needed: Flathead screwdriver, socket wrench

  1. Locate the existing wiper switch on the dashboard and turn it off.
  2. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the cover plate surrounding the switch.
  3. Once the cover is removed, use a socket wrench to remove the screws securing the switch to the dashboard.
  4. Unplug the wiring harness connected to the old switch.
  5. Plug the wiring harness into the new switch.
  6. Secure the new switch to the dashboard using the screws that were removed from the old switch.
  7. Snap the cover plate back into place.
  8. Test the new switch to ensure it is working properly.

The job should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete, and basic mechanical knowledge is required.
