Installation Instructions
Tools Needed: Torx Screwdriver, Flathead Screwdriver
- Open the door and locate the check strap mechanism.
- Using the Torx Screwdriver, remove the bolts holding the check strap in place.
- Use the Flathead Screwdriver to carefully pry off the check strap from the door and the frame.
- Install the new check strap in place, and secure it using the bolts and the Torx Screwdriver.
- Once secured, test the door to ensure the check strap is functioning correctly.
Completing this task should take approximately 20 minutes and requires an intermediate level of technical skill.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
