If you're the owner of a 2013-2018 Ford Escape, the Muffler/Tailpipe Mount Bracket is an essential component to keep in top working order. This genuine OEM part is designed to seamlessly integrate with your vehicle's existing systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Installation Instructions:
Begin by safely raising and supporting your Ford Escape with a jack stand or vehicle lift.
Locate the muffler and tailpipe mount bracket on your Escape's exhaust system. This is typically located at the rear of the vehicle, just before the tailpipe.
Use a wrench to loosen and remove the bolts that hold the old mount bracket in place.
Carefully remove the old mount bracket from the exhaust system. Be sure to clean any debris or old gasket material from the mounting surface on the vehicle.
Take the new genuine Ford muffler/tailpipe mount bracket and align it with the mounting location on the vehicle. Insert the mounting bolts and tighten them securely with a wrench.
Lower the vehicle back down to the ground.
Start the engine and check for any exhaust leaks or other issues.
