Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver

1. Open the door and locate the mirror housing cover on the inside of the door.
2. Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully pry off the mirror housing cover from the door.
3. Once the cover is removed, you will see the mirror assembly and a black plastic backing.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws that hold the mirror assembly to the door.
5. Once the screws are removed, carefully pull the mirror assembly away from the door, being careful not to damage the wiring or connectors.
6. With the mirror assembly removed, you will be able to see the back of the mirror housing cover.
7. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws that hold the cover to the mirror assembly.
8. Once the screws are removed, carefully pull the cover away from the mirror assembly.
9. Install the new mirror housing cover onto the mirror assembly and secure it with the two screws.
10. Reattach the mirror assembly to the door by lining up the connectors and wiring, and securing it with the three screws.
11. Snap the mirror housing cover back onto the door by carefully aligning the tabs on the cover with the slots on the door and pressing it into place.

The installation process should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.
