2010-2012 Ford Fusion 2.5 Outlet Pipe To Thermostat Housing Hose

This Genuine OEM part, 9E5Z-18472-Z Outlet Pipe to Thermostat Housing Hose, is expertly crafted for 2010-2012 Ford Fusion models equipped with a 2.5 engine. This hose plays a vital role in your vehicle's cooling system, providing a secure channel for the coolant to flow from the outlet pipe to the thermostat housing. If your current hose is cracked, leaking, or obstructed, replacing it with this OEM part will ensure proper coolant circulation, thus preventing engine overheating and improving the overall performance of your vehicle.

This is a brand new, genuine part that comes straight from the Original Equipment Manufacturer's packaging. It's not an aftermarket piece but the very same premium-quality part you would purchase from a new car dealership.

Installation Instructions

Tools Required: Pliers, Screwdriver, Drain Pan

Difficulty Level: Moderate

Estimated Time: 1-2 Hours

1. Start by placing a drain pan under the engine's radiator.

2. Open the radiator petcock and allow the coolant to drain into the pan.

3. Once drained, locate the hose that connects the outlet pipe to the thermostat housing.

4. Using pliers, remove the clamps on either end of the hose.

5. Carefully pull off the old hose from the outlet pipe and thermostat housing.

6. Install the new hose, ensuring it fits snugly on both the outlet pipe and thermostat housing.

7. Secure the hose using the clamps. Make sure they are tight enough to prevent leaks.

8. Close the petcock and refill the coolant system with the appropriate coolant mixture.

9. Start the vehicle and let it warm up while checking for leaks to confirm a successful installation.
