Installation Instructions:
Replacing the 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Hood Lock Latch Genuine New requires the following tools:
- Socket wrench set
- Phillips head screwdriver
Skill Level: Intermediate
Step 1: Locate the old hood lock latch Locate the old hood lock latch under the hood of your Toyota FJ Cruiser.
Step 2: Remove the old hood lock latch Using a socket wrench set, remove the bolts that are holding the old hood lock latch in place. Then, disconnect the wire harness from the latch and remove the old latch from the vehicle.
Step 3: Install the new hood lock latch Attach the new hood lock latch to the vehicle by aligning it with the mounting holes and securing it in place with the bolts. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to connect the wire harness to the new latch.
Step 4: Test the new hood lock latch Test the new hood lock latch to make sure it is securely in place and that it is functioning properly. Check that the hood can be securely locked and unlocked.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
