Installation Instructions

Tools Needed:

• Socket wrench
• Wire stripper/crimper
• Electrical tape or heat shrink tubing
• Wire tapping connectors

Instructions:

1. Remove the block-off plate on the Super Duty truck by unfastening the mounting bolts.

2. Position the new marker lamp in the location of the previously removed plate.

3. Reuse the blank's mounting bolts to secure the marker lamp to the vehicle.

4. Locate a suitable grounding point for the strip and secure the ground wire.

5. Tap into the running light circuit for power, either at the back of the 7-way bumper plug or the license plate lights, using wire tapping connectors.

6. Connect the pigtail connector to the lamp and the tapped power source.

7. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.

8. Test the lamp to confirm it lights up with the running lights.

Duration: This job should take about 30 minutes to complete.
