Replacing the 2007-2014 FJ Cruiser Auto Transmission Shift Lock Release Button Cover Genuine New requires the following tools:

• Flat head screwdriver

Skill Level: Easy

Step 1: Remove the old cover Using a flat head screwdriver, gently pry off the old shift lock release button cover from the center console. Be careful not to damage the surrounding area.

Step 2: Install the new cover Align the new shift lock release button cover with the center console and press it firmly into place. You should hear a clicking sound when the cover snaps into place.

Step 3: Test the new cover Test the new cover to make sure it is securely in place and that the shift lock release button works properly.
