Installation Instructions:
- Open the rear tailgate and locate the liftgate release handle.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws that secure the liftgate release handle.
- Carefully pull the liftgate release handle away from the tailgate to release it from the clips that hold it in place.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the liftgate release handle.
- Take the new liftgate release handle and connect the electrical connector to it.
- Align the clips on the new liftgate release handle with the slots on the tailgate and press it firmly into place.
- Secure the liftgate release handle to the tailgate by reinstalling the two screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Test the new liftgate release handle to ensure that it is working properly.
