The 2011-2016 Kia Sportage Rear Power Window Control Switch is a genuine OEM auto part that is designed specifically for the 2011-2016 Kia Sportage. It is a direct replacement for the original switch and is compatible with either the driver's or passenger's side rear power window.
Skill level needed: Beginner
Tools needed:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Trim removal tool (optional)
Installation instructions:
- Start by lowering the rear windows all the way down.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screw located at the bottom of the door panel.
- Use the trim removal tool (optional) to remove the clips located around the edge of the door panel.
- Lift the door panel off the door and disconnect the power window switch connector by pushing down on the tab and pulling it out.
- Locate the rear power window control switch and release the tabs holding it in place.
- Pull the switch out of the door panel and disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the switch.
- Connect the wiring harness to the new switch and insert the switch into the door panel.
- Snap the switch into place by pressing it down until it clicks.
- Reconnect the power window switch connector and reattach the door panel to the door.
- Secure the door panel by replacing the screw and snapping the clips back into place.
