Replacing the Toyota 2007-2014 FJ Cruiser Fuel Filler Opening Door Unpainted requires the following tools:
- Flathead screwdriver
- 10mm socket wrench
Skill Level: Intermediate
Step 1: Remove the old fuel filler opening door Open the fuel filler door and locate the two screws that are holding it in place. Use the 10mm socket wrench to remove the screws and gently pull the old fuel filler opening door away from the vehicle.
Step 2: Transfer the hinge and spring from the old door Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the hinge and spring from the old fuel filler opening door and transfer it to the new door.
Step 3: Install the new fuel filler opening door Insert the new fuel filler opening door onto the vehicle and align it with the mounting holes. Secure it into place by tightening the screws using the 10mm socket wrench.
Step 4: Test the new fuel filler opening door Test the new fuel filler opening door to make sure it is securely in place and that it opens and closes smoothly.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.
