The Genuine Nissan Cruise Control-Release Cancel Brake Pedal Switch is a crucial component of your vehicle's cruise control system. This OEM part is designed to ensure the smooth operation of the cruise control feature by allowing the driver to cancel or release the cruise control by pressing the brake pedal.
Installation Instructions:
Important Note: Before beginning the installation process, make sure that the replacement part matches the one being replaced in terms of make, model, and specifications.
Tools Needed:
- Socket wrench set
- Phillips head screwdriver
Skill Level: Intermediate
Time Needed: 30-45 minutes
Steps:
- Locate the brake pedal switch under the dashboard on the driver's side of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector that is attached to the old brake pedal switch.
- Use a socket wrench set to remove the nut that secures the old brake pedal switch to the brake pedal assembly.
- Remove the old brake pedal switch from the brake pedal assembly.
- Take the new brake pedal switch and carefully align it with the mounting location on the brake pedal assembly.
- Insert the bolt through the hole in the new brake pedal switch and tighten it securely with a socket wrench set.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the new brake pedal switch.
- Test the new brake pedal switch by pressing the brake pedal down and observing the cruise control and release cancel functions.
- Adjust the position of the new brake pedal switch if necessary to ensure proper function.
- Replace any panels or coverings that were removed during the installation process.
That's it! The installation process is now complete. Remember to dispose of any old parts and materials in an environmentally responsible manner.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
