The Mazda 2 / 3 / 5 / 6 / CX-5 Brake Pedal Stop Lamp Switch is a crucial component of your vehicle's braking system. This Genuine OEM part is designed to activate the brake lights when the brake pedal is pressed, ensuring that other drivers are aware that you are braking, improving visibility and safety while driving.
Important Note: Before beginning the installation process, make sure that the replacement part matches the one being replaced in terms of make, model, and specifications.

- Socket wrench set
- Phillips head screwdriver
Skill Level: Intermediate
Time Needed: 30-45 minutes
Steps:
- Locate the brake pedal stop lamp switch under the dashboard on the driver's side of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector that is attached to the old brake pedal stop lamp switch.
- Use a socket wrench set to remove the nut that secures the old brake pedal stop lamp switch to the brake pedal assembly.
- Remove the old brake pedal stop lamp switch from the brake pedal assembly.
- Take the new brake pedal stop lamp switch and carefully align it with the mounting location on the brake pedal assembly.
- Insert the bolt through the hole in the new brake pedal stop lamp switch and tighten it securely with a socket wrench set.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the new brake pedal stop lamp switch.
- Test the new brake pedal stop lamp switch by pressing the brake pedal down and observing the stop lamp function.
- Adjust the position of the new brake pedal stop lamp switch if necessary to ensure proper function.
- Replace any panels or coverings that were removed during the installation process.
That's it! The installation process is now complete. Remember to dispose of any old parts and materials in an environmentally responsible manner.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

We will replace the parts free of charge for any reason not caused by collision or installation, other human intervention, incorrect application, modifications, use of the products outside the context of its normal, customary, and intended operating conditions (including without limitation, any form of commercial, fleet, rental or off-road use), or physical damage for 1 year and only for the vehicle in which the part was originally installed.
One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
