- Trim panel removal tool
Skill Level: Intermediate
Installation Time: Approximately 1-2 hours
Note: Before starting the installation, ensure that the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
- Use a trim panel removal tool to carefully remove the trim panel that covers the upper dashboard AC heater defrost air vent on your Ford Thunderbird or Lincoln LS.
- Use the trim panel removal tool to carefully pry the old air vent from its clips on the dashboard. Be careful not to damage the dashboard or the clips.
- Carefully remove the old air vent from the dashboard.
- Install the new Genuine Ford upper dashboard AC heater defrost air vent by aligning its clips with the mounting points on the dashboard and pressing it firmly into place.
- Reinstall the trim panel that covers the air vent by snapping it back into place.
- Test the new air vent to ensure proper operation.
It is important to note that this installation requires intermediate-level skills and should not be attempted by individuals with limited automotive knowledge. The job can take approximately 1-2 hours to complete, depending on the installer's skill level and familiarity with the vehicle. Believe it or not, this is super important! Don't throw away the packaging. Manufacturers won't accept returns on a part without the genuine OEM Packaging, so we won't be able to credit you. (Even if the part is brand new with no packaging, we would have to return it to you).

You have installed or attempted to install or disassemble the part
You have painted the part.
You have broken the part.
You have lost the original packaging.
You have gotten the part wet, or the part has greasy fingerprints.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
