Installation Instructions
Tools Needed:
- Jack and jack stands
- Wrench set
- Spring compressors
- Socket set
Steps:
1. Park the vehicle on a flat and secure surface. Engage the parking brake.
2. Using the jack, carefully lift the front side of the vehicle and securely place it on jack stands.
3. Remove the wheel on the passenger side to access the strut.
4. Utilizing the socket set, disconnect the strut from the steering knuckle.
5. If the strut assembly has a coil spring, use the spring compressors to compress it safely.
6. Remove the strut mounting bolts and the strut assembly from the vehicle.
7. Position the new Genuine Passenger Side Front Strut and reverse the removal process.
8. Once installed, reattach the wheel and lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
The replacement process is expected to take around 1-2 hours, depending on experience, and requires an advanced skill level.
