Installing the Passenger Side Mirror for Large Head / Short Arm with No Signals in your 2015-2021 Ford Transit is a simple process that can be completed with basic tools.
Tools needed:
- Socket set
- Torx bit set
- Trim panel removal tool
Step-by-step instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
- Use a trim panel removal tool to carefully pry off the mirror cover on the inside of the door.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the mirror if equipped with power mirrors.
- Locate the three nuts that secure the mirror to the door.
- Use a socket and wrench to remove the three nuts and carefully remove the mirror from the door.
- Install the new mirror in place and loosely install the three nuts that secure the mirror to the door.
- Tighten the three nuts to the manufacturer's specifications using a torque wrench.
- Reconnect the wiring harness to the mirror if equipped with power mirrors.
- Snap the mirror cover back into place on the inside of the door.
- Test the operation of the mirror to ensure proper operation.
