1. Lift your vehicle using a vehicle lift or jack stands, ensuring it's securely positioned.
2. Place a drain pan beneath the transmission to catch any fluid that may spill.
3. Locate the transmission pan and remove the screws holding it with a screwdriver. Carefully lower the pan and let the fluid drain.
4. Once completely drained, you will find the Transmission Control Valve Solenoid Filter Plate. Remove the existing filter plate by undoing the screws.
