This Genuine OEM Battery Current Sensor for the 2015-2019 Chevrolet Impala 2.5L is a brand new, genuine part that comes in OEM manufacturers packaging. This part resolves the issue of monitoring the battery's state of charge and communicates it to the vehicle's computer, allowing the computer to adjust the charging rate to optimize the battery's life and performance.
Installation Instructions:
Tools Needed: Socket Set, Torque Wrench
Skill Level: Intermediate
- Disconnect the negative battery cable using a socket set.
- Locate the battery current sensor on the negative battery cable.
- Using a socket set, remove the two bolts holding the sensor to the battery cable.
- Remove the sensor from the cable and install the new sensor in its place.
- Tighten the bolts using a torque wrench to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable using a socket set.
This installation should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Believe it or not, this is super important! Don't throw away the packaging. Manufacturers won't accept returns on a part without the genuine OEM Packaging, so we won't be able to credit you. (Even if the part is brand new with no packaging, we would have to return it to you).

You have installed or attempted to install or disassemble the part
You have painted the part.
You have broken the part.
You have lost the original packaging.
You have gotten the part wet, or the part has greasy fingerprints.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
