The 2014-2020 Kia Sorento Shift Interlock Solenoid is a genuine OEM auto part that is designed to ensure the safety of your car by preventing the gear shift from being moved out of the Park position unless the brake pedal is depressed. Installation Instructions:
Before starting, ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat and stable surface, and all occupants have vacated the area.
Locate the shift interlock solenoid on your 2014-2020 Kia Sorento. It is typically located near the shift lever, inside the center console.
Using a screwdriver or socket wrench, remove the bolts that secure the old shift interlock solenoid to the vehicle. Be sure to hold onto the solenoid to prevent it from falling during removal.
Carefully remove the old shift interlock solenoid from the vehicle.
Take the new genuine Kia shift interlock solenoid and position it in the same location as the old one. Ensure that it is aligned properly and oriented correctly.
Secure the new shift interlock solenoid to the vehicle by tightening the bolts that were removed earlier. Ensure that they are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
Reconnect any wiring harnesses or connections that were removed during the process.
Test the shift interlock system to make sure it functions correctly.
Once you are satisfied with the installation, replace any trim pieces that were removed and clean up any debris.

You have installed or attempted to install or disassemble the part
You have painted the part.
You have broken the part.
You have lost the original packaging.
You have gotten the part wet, or the part has greasy fingerprints.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

We will replace the parts free of charge for any reason not caused by collision or installation, other human intervention, incorrect application, modifications, use of the products outside the context of its normal, customary, and intended operating conditions (including without limitation, any form of commercial, fleet, rental or off-road use), or physical damage for 1 year and only for the vehicle in which the part was originally installed.
One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
