Begin by removing the inner door trim panel from the driver's side door. Use a trim panel removal tool to gently pry away the clips that hold the panel in place. Be careful not to damage the clips or the panel itself.

Once the trim panel is removed, locate the old driver's side door number keypad. It will be connected to the wiring harness inside the door panel. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry away any clips that hold the keypad in place.

With the old keypad removed, disconnect it from the wiring harness. You may need to use pliers or a socket wrench set to remove any bolts or nuts that hold the wiring harness in place.

Take the new genuine Ford wired keyless entry driver's side door number keypad and connect it to the wiring harness. Use pliers or a socket wrench set to securely fasten any bolts or nuts that hold the wiring harness in place.

Gently press the new keypad into place on the door panel. Make sure it is properly aligned and secured with the appropriate clips.
