Tools needed:
- Socket set
- Wrench set

- Fuel line disconnect tool
- Safety goggles

- Drain pan

Estimated time: 2-3 hours
- Turn off the engine and allow the fuel system to cool down.
- Locate the fuel tank and remove the fuel tank shield if necessary.
- Relieve fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse or relay and starting the engine until it stalls.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any electrical shocks or sparks.
- Locate the fuel pump and sender assembly.
- Disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connections from the fuel pump and sender assembly using the appropriate tools.
- Remove the screws or bolts that secure the fuel pump and sender assembly to the fuel tank.
- Carefully remove the old fuel pump and sender assembly from the fuel tank.
- Place the new fuel pump and sender assembly into the fuel tank and secure it with screws or bolts.
- Reconnect the fuel lines and electrical connections to the new fuel pump and sender assembly.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
- Turn on the engine and check for any leaks or unusual noises.
- If everything looks good, replace the fuel pump fuse or relay and test drive the vehicle.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.
