Meet the Genuine OEM Oxygen Sensor with part number 12634061 from ACDelco, designed specifically for 2009-2017 GM 3.6 engines installed in Equinox, Terrain, and SRX vehicles. As a crucial element of the engine's emission control system, this sensor monitors the level of oxygen in the exhaust gases. It provides real-time data to the engine control unit (ECU) to optimize the fuel-air mixture, enhancing overall engine performance and fuel efficiency. Installation Instructions
Tools Needed: O2 sensor socket, Ratchet, Flat-head screwdriver, Jack and jack stands.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Time: Approximately 1-2 hours.
- Lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
- Locate the Oxygen Sensor on the exhaust system. It will look like a plug sticking out of the exhaust pipe.
- Using the O2 sensor socket and ratchet, unscrew the existing sensor. Note: if it's rusted, apply some penetrant and allow it to soak before attempting to remove it.
- Once the old sensor is removed, connect the new Genuine OEM Oxygen Sensor 12634061 and screw it into the bung on the exhaust pipe. Ensure it's snugly fitted but be careful not to overtighten.
- Reconnect the sensor's wiring to the vehicle's wiring harness.
- Lower the vehicle and start the engine. The new sensor should now be communicating with the ECU, ensuring optimal fuel-air mixture.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
