If you're looking for a replacement gear shifter lever for your 2008-2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty, F-450 Super Duty, or F-550 Super Duty with an automatic transmission, look no further than this genuine automatic transmission steering column gear shifter lever.
Installation Instructions:
Tools Needed:
- Socket Set
- Torx bit set
- Screwdriver
- Pry tool
Skill Level: Intermediate
Installation Time: Approximately 1-2 hours
Note: Before starting the installation, ensure that the battery is disconnected to prevent accidental airbag deployment.
- Use a pry tool to carefully remove the steering column trim covers to expose the steering column and gear shifter lever assembly.
- Locate the wiring harness connector for the gear shifter lever assembly and disconnect it by pressing down on the locking tab and pulling the connector away from the assembly.
- Use a socket set and Torx bit set to remove the bolts and screws securing the gear shifter lever assembly to the steering column.
- Carefully remove the old gear shifter lever assembly from the steering column.
- Install the new Genuine Ford automatic transmission steering column gear shifter lever by aligning it with the mounting points on the steering column and securing it with bolts and screws.
- Reconnect the wiring harness connector to the back of the new gear shifter lever assembly.
- Reinstall the steering column trim covers by snapping them back into place.
It is important to note that this installation requires intermediate-level skills and should not be attempted by individuals with limited automotive knowledge. The job can take approximately 1-2 hours to complete, depending on the installer's skill level and familiarity with the vehicle. You have installed or attempted to install or disassemble the part
You have painted the part.
You have broken the part.
You have lost the original packaging.
You have gotten the part wet, or the part has greasy fingerprints.
ELECTRICAL PARTS.
Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.
An electrical part is any part that plugs in, contains a switch, sensor, circuit board, or electrical wiring.

One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
