This Lower Hinged Rear Door Latch is a genuine new OEM part designed to fit 2007-2014 Ford E-150 and E-250 Van models. It is a direct replacement for the original lower hinged rear door latch and ensures proper functioning of the vehicle's rear door.
To replace the existing lower hinged rear door latch with this new part, follow these steps:
- Gather the necessary tools: socket wrench, Phillips head screwdriver, and pliers.
- Remove the interior door panel from the rear door using the Phillips head screwdriver.
- Using the pliers, disconnect the latch linkage from the old latch.
- Using the socket wrench, remove the bolts securing the old latch to the door.
- Install the new latch in the same location in the door.
- Secure the new latch in place using the same bolts and torque specifications as before.
- Reconnect the latch linkage to the new latch using the pliers.
- Reinstall the interior door panel onto the rear door using the Phillips head screwdriver.
This installation process should take approximately 30-60 minutes and requires a moderate level of mechanical skill.

WHAT CAN NOT BE RETURNED:
Any part that does not have all of the original packaging with the attached manufacturer part number label.
Believe it or not, this is super important! Don't throw away the packaging. Manufacturers won't accept returns on a part without the genuine OEM Packaging, so we won't be able to credit you. (Even if the part is brand new with no packaging, we would have to return it to you).
WE ALSO CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR RETURN IF:
You have installed or attempted to install or disassemble the part
You have painted the part.
You have broken the part.
You have lost the original packaging.
You have gotten the part wet, or the part has greasy fingerprints.
ELECTRICAL PARTS.
Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

Our Warranty Coverage
We will replace the parts free of charge for any reason not caused by collision or installation, other human intervention, incorrect application, modifications, use of the products outside the context of its normal, customary, and intended operating conditions (including without limitation, any form of commercial, fleet, rental or off-road use), or physical damage for 1 year and only for the vehicle in which the part was originally installed.
One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
