2006-2010 Ford Explorer 4.0 Lower Radiator Hose Genuine OEM New

This Genuine OEM Lower Radiator Hose is designed to fit 2006-2010 Ford Explorer models equipped with the 4.0L engine. It serves as a vital component of your vehicle's cooling system, allowing coolant to flow between the radiator and the engine. Crafted to precise specifications, this lower radiator hose guarantees a proper fit and reliable coolant circulation, helping to regulate your Explorer's engine temperature.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Begin by ensuring you have the necessary tools, including pliers, a drain pan, and coolant for refilling.
  2. Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  3. Allow your engine to cool down if it has been running recently.
  4. Locate the old lower radiator hose on your Ford Explorer.
  5. Place the drain pan under the lower radiator hose connection point to catch any coolant that may spill.
  6. Using pliers, carefully remove the hose clamps from both ends of the old lower radiator hose.
  7. Gently detach the old hose from the radiator and the engine's water inlet or thermostat housing.
  8. Inspect the connections for any residue or debris and clean them if necessary.
  9. Take the new Genuine OEM Lower Radiator Hose and attach one end to the radiator and the other end to the engine's water inlet or thermostat housing.
  10. Secure the hose in place by reattaching the hose clamps removed in step 6.
  11. Carefully refill the radiator with the appropriate type and amount of coolant.
  12. Start your engine and monitor the coolant level. Add more coolant if needed to reach the proper level.
  13. The entire replacement process typically takes about 30-60 minutes.
