- Phillips screwdriver

Note: Before starting the installation process, make sure that the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed from the ignition. It is also recommended to wear protective gear, such as gloves and safety glasses.

Locate the bedside box cover door on your 2005-2021 Toyota Tacoma.

Use a socket wrench set to remove the bolts that are securing the old bedside box cover door. There may be a support bracket underneath that needs to be removed as well.

Once the bolts have been removed, gently remove the old bedside box cover door by pulling it away from the vehicle.

Take the new genuine Toyota part and align it with the holes on the bedside where the previous cover was removed.

Use a socket wrench set to tighten the bolts and secure the new bedside box cover door onto the vehicle.

Test the bedside box cover door to ensure that it is operating smoothly and without any issues.

If there was a support bracket that was removed in step 2, reinstall it using the Phillips screwdriver.
