The Center Dash Vent for 1996 thru 2002 4Runner is an important component for ensuring the proper functioning of your vehicle's air conditioning and heating system. This OEM (original equipment manufacturer) auto part is specifically designed for the 1996 thru 2002 4Runner model, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Before starting, ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat and stable surface, and all occupants have vacated the area.

  2. Locate the center dash A/C heat vent on your 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner. It is typically located in the center of the dashboard, above the radio.

  3. Using a flat-head screwdriver or a plastic trim removal tool, gently pry off the old vent cover. Be careful not to damage the surrounding plastic or scratch the surface of your car.

  4. Once the old cover has been removed, unplug any electrical connectors that are attached to the old vent. Take note of their orientation and location for future reference.

  5. Take the new genuine Toyota center dash A/C heat vent and attach any electrical connectors that were removed from the old vent.

  6. Align the new vent with the opening in the dashboard and press it into place until it clicks.

  7. Test the A/C and heat functions to make sure they blow air through the new vent.

  8. Once you are satisfied with the installation, replace any trim pieces that were removed and clean up any debris.

Tools Needed: Flat-head screwdriver or plastic trim removal tool.

Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.

One Time replacement.

Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.

Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
