- Take the new clutch release dust cover boot and carefully stretch it over the clutch release cylinder.
- Push the new dust cover boot onto the clutch release cylinder until it is fully seated.
- Reinstall the clutch release cylinder onto the transmission bell housing, making sure to align the push rod with the clutch fork.
- Secure the clutch release cylinder to the transmission bell housing with the two bolts removed earlier.
- Reinstall the retaining clip that secures the clutch release cylinder push rod to the clutch fork.
- Lower the vehicle (if necessary) and test the clutch pedal to ensure that it operates smoothly and that the dust cover boot is properly installed.
