Installation Instructions
Tools Needed: Oxygen sensor socket, Ratchet, Jack and jack stands.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Time: Approximately 1-2 hours.
- Begin by lifting the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands for safety.
- Locate the Upper Driver Side Oxygen Sensor on the exhaust manifold. It should appear as a plug protruding from the exhaust pipe.
- Using the oxygen sensor socket and ratchet, unscrew and remove the existing sensor.
- Attach the new Genuine New Oxygen Sensor 12668435 and screw it back into the port on the exhaust pipe, ensuring it's snugly fitted.
- Reconnect the sensor's wiring harness to the vehicle's electrical system.
- Lower the vehicle and start the engine. Check for any error codes and make sure the new sensor is functioning correctly.
