Installation Instructions:

Before starting, ensure that the engine is turned off, the key is removed from the ignition, and all electrical accessories are turned off.

Locate the power antenna on your 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner. It is typically located on the passenger side of the vehicle, near the front fender.

Using a wrench or pliers, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid any electrical shocks.

Carefully remove the old antenna mast by turning it counterclockwise. It should unscrew easily, but if it is stuck, try applying a small amount of penetrating oil to help loosen it.

Once the old mast has been removed, take the new genuine Toyota antenna mast and thread the cable through the center hole. Ensure that it is aligned properly and oriented correctly.

Insert the new antenna mast into the antenna assembly, and turn it clockwise until it is securely in place.

Turn on the radio and test the antenna to make sure that it extends and retracts properly. If necessary, adjust the antenna mast length using the radio controls.

Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery and ensure that it is tightened properly.

You have installed or attempted to install or disassemble the part
You have painted the part.
You have broken the part.
You have lost the original packaging.
You have gotten the part wet, or the part has greasy fingerprints.
ELECTRICAL PARTS.
Electrical parts can only be returned if they have not been installed, programmed, or plugged in. If the part shows signs, of an attempted install we will be unable to accept your return.
An electrical part is any part that plugs in, contains a switch, sensor, circuit board, or electrical wiring.

One Time replacement.
Warranty Covers only one replacement in the warranty period. Multiple Replacements are not covered, after one replacement warranty will no longer be in effect.
Warranty Is nontransferable and is only valid for the VIN number of the vehicle for which it was purchased. Warranty does not transfer to the new owner of the item purchased or the vehicle purchased with the item installed.
