Installation Instructions:

Replacing the 2014-2020 Acura MDX Driver Front Door Handle Chrome End Cap with Key Hole Genuine New requires the following tools:

• Phillips head screwdriver
• Flat head screwdriver
• Pliers

Skill Level: Intermediate

Step 1: Remove the old end cap Using the flat head screwdriver, gently pry off the old end cap from the driver front door handle. There are plastic clips that hold the end cap in place, so be careful not to break them.

Step 2: Remove the lock cylinder Using the Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the lock cylinder to the door handle. Once the screw is removed, gently pull the lock cylinder out of the handle.

Step 3: Install the new end cap Align the new end cap with the door handle and push it firmly into place. You should hear a clicking sound when the end cap snaps into place.

Step 4: Reinstall the lock cylinder Insert the lock cylinder back into the door handle and secure it with the screw that you removed in step 2.

Step 5: Test the new end cap Test the new end cap to make sure it is securely in place and that the lock cylinder works properly.
